Bedtime Stories/Beware the Jabberwock

Bethany Christian Middle School will perform two one-act plays, BedTime Stories (as told by our Dad ) (who messed them up) and Beware the Jabberwock, at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday, May 4 and 5, 2018. Tickets, $5 for adults and $3 for students, may be purchased online beginning April 16 through noon Friday, May 4.

Mom's sick, so Dad tells his three rambunctious kids their bedtime stories; but when he gets fuzzy on the details, the classics get creative: The Boy Who Cried Wolf cries dinosaur instead and Rumpelstiltskin helps turn all that pesky gold into straw. Then he tells his own creative tale with a mashup of all the odd creatures from Lewis Carroll's "Jabberwocky." You may think you know your fairy tales, but not the way Dad tells them.
